Feb 1 Update: Still too much ice for riding. Paulie is clear of debris. Mickey and Thunderlips each have several small trees down. See Trailforks page for details. Status of the other trails will posted soon.
Light rain doesn't usually close the trail and we only know Barfield is closed if they tell us. If the gate isn't open, try calling the Park Office at 615-890-5333 to verify if the trail is supposed to be closed. On weekends, visit or call the Wilderness Station at 615-217-3017.

As of 1/31, volunteers cleared most of the fallen trees. (Yeah, Jones got lucky). The ground is covered in snow & ice.
If you go, be safe and ride early when the ground is still frozen. If the beginning of Blue line is muck, turn back as the rest will be the same. There are still trees down on Old Campbell road... but we'll get those later.
